The program ”Desmos Gives Warmth” has been completed for this winter 2015-2016. The final report is impressive and our expectations have been exceeded.

All our gratitude goes out to each and every one of you -and you are many- who helped us make this program come true. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

We would like to thank the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation that contributed for the second consecutive year to the program, the TIMA Charitable Foundation which enabled us to support numerous Elderly Care Centers throughout Greece thanks to its generous donation, Visa Hellas‘ campaign “Even the Smallest Gesture Can Bring the Bigest Change” which supported “Desmos Gives Warmth”. We are also grateful to The Hellenic Centre, Psy-Network and their event in collaboration with Care Share Play 3, the Fondation Entraide Hellenique de Lausanne that also donated and “gave warmth” this winter, Annita Sima who created the Bond of Love, a unique jewel, especially for Desmos, granting part of the profits to Desmos Gives Warmth. Finally we thank everyone who helped us make “Desmos Gives warmth” come true for the 4th consecutive year.

This winter thanks to all of your support we managed to provide heating fuel supplies, to 113 schools and social welfare organizations throughout Greece from Rodopi mountains in Northern Greece to Crete. In total 243,447 liters of heating fuel was donated and 6,651 people were benefited, in schools, welfare organisations, elderly care centers, disability care centers and more.

We THANK all our volunteers who helped us materialize the program.

A big THANK YOU also to Anneta Georgiadou, a graphic designer, who created the program’s wonderful logo and is always here for us when we need her.

The total amount spent for this year’s fuel supplies is €168,886 and the total amount donated for Desmos Gives Warmth is €183,197 and we are very grateful.

Our goal is to continue this programme for the years to come. So we invite all of you to get acquainted with our campaign and support our cause in any way you can!
