“Giving Tuesday”: The global generosity movement celebrated on December 1st  is brought to Greece by Desmos!

 #GivingTuesday Global is celebrated on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving and Black Friday. This year’s date is Tuesday, December 1st.  The World-Giving movement is an attempt to encourage people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity signifying the final countdown to Christmas.

#GivingTuesday is a day inspired by the essence of solidarity, it is an attempt to move people in acts of giving and do good. It started in 2012 as a simple idea on how to make the world a better place; seven years later has grown into a global movement!

Desmos is the first to participate in this World-Giving movement in Greece, connecting those who can offer with those in need, supporting more than 800 social organizations nationwide!

Either as an individual or as a business, EVERYONE can participate in the spirit of #GivingTuesday!

How to join the #GivingTuesday movement?

Companies interested to participate in #Giving Tuesday and support Desmos’s initiative, can make a donation or alternatively they can actively participate by offering a percentage of their sales (in total or from selected products) for December 1st or for any period they wish to.

Respectively, consumers who will make their purchases from participating stores and prefer the products that take part in the #GivingTuesday movement, actively support the humanitarian work of Desmos and help us create inspiring goodwill stories!
