Anastasia Zagari is a graduate of the Public Vocational Training Institute of Haidari as a General Nursing Assistant. During her studies, she completed part of her clinical practice at the General Hospital of Attiki while attending numerous seminars. She also accomplished a 960-hour internship at the Konstantopouleio General Hospital, at both Pathology and Orthopedic departments, while contributing to the hospital’s emergency department.
Through the program, she started working as a nurse at Saint Ephraim.
Her key responsibilities include visiting beneficiaries of the Organization at their homes, to perform nursing operations, (such as blood sampling, administration of drugs, and vital signs check) depending on the patients’ needs and/or provide general care services (such as personal hygiene and house cleaning). WIth her assistance, the high quality of life for many vulnerable people is ensured and maintained.
The non-profit organization Saint Ephraim, provides at-home general care and health services to elder and disabled individuals.
The multidisciplinary team consisted of family caregivers, nurses and a neuropsychologist, guarantees the organization’s ability to meet a wide range of needs, ensuring a safe and proper living for its beneficiaries. Based in the town of Spata, it operates in eastern Attiki and the northern areas of Athens.
