She studied at the Department of Theatre Studies of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, but very quickly her professional interest was steered towards civil society organizations. From 2016 to 2022, she was active in this field, working on humanitarian aid programs and dealing with the refugee crisis at the NGO Danish Refugee Council. She has been working at Desmos since 2022 and she is responsible for the “Desmos for Schools” program, the “Support Program for Volunteer Forest Firefighter Teams”, as well as tailored projects of the Emergency Response and Recovery pillar.

DESMOS aims to coordinate the donating process between donors and organizations in need. Desmos does not attest to, or provide any guarantees regarding, the quality of the offered goods or their characteristics. Desmos designs and implements programs arising from financial donations by individuals, companies and charitable financial institutions aiming to meet the needs of vulnerable groups. In order to be able to sustainably run our programs, we need to cater for implementation costs such as research and update of needs, proposal compilation, implementation follow up, payments, financial and final reports to donors etc. The set policy of Desmos is to charge a 10% administrative fee after removing the applied 0.5% donation tax. Especially where individuals’ monetary donations up to 5.000 euros for combating the COVID-19 pandemic are concerned, Desmos waives its right to the aforementioned percentage and assumes the responsibility to absorb all administrative costs.
