Desmos, in collaboration with Nova and Olympiacos BC, gave 110 children and their accompanying adults from 6 NGOs the opportunity to attend the Olympiacos – Mykonos Betsson game on Sunday, April 5, as part of the 24th round of the Stoiximan GBL.

The event was attended by children supported by the NGOs Network for Children’s Rights, Emfasis Non-Profit, Association for the Care of Minors and Youth, Children First, The HOME Project, and SolidarityNow. Through this experience, the children had the opportunity to be part of a unique sporting environment, share moments of joy and excitement, and feel the power of participation, teamwork, and shared experience.

The initiative was launched in anticipation of the Easter season, further reinforcing the symbolism of generosity, solidarity, and support for vulnerable social groups.

With this new Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, Nova continues to invest in initiatives that strengthen social cohesion and create unique experiences for children and young people, harnessing the power of sports as a means of inspiration, inclusion, and connection with society.

Martha Kesissoglou, Nova’s Corporate Affairs Executive Director, stated: “At Nova, we believe that the most meaningful actions are those that create genuine experiences and positive emotions for children, which will stay with them into the future. Through our partnership with Olympiacos BC and Desmos, we continue to support initiatives that give children the opportunity to participate, be inspired, and feel the joy of a shared experience.”

Emily Kern, Executive Director of Desmos, noted: “At Desmos, we believe in the power of partnerships that can open doors and create opportunities for children. This initiative by Nova is a wonderful example of a partnership with a meaningful impact, offering children the chance to see their favorite players up close and experience the emotions that sports bring.”

Nikos Lepeniotis, General Manager of Olympiacos BC, stated: “Olympiacos BC actively supports initiatives with a social impact, harnessing the power of sports. In collaboration with Nova and Desmos, 110 children from vulnerable social groups and their chaperones enjoyed a special experience at SEF. Such initiatives promote inclusion, solidarity, and the joy of participation. We remain committed to creating initiatives that bring sports closer to society.”
