Communication and Community Building Officer - Rise Club

Aphrodite Giapraka is a Political Science and Public Administration graduate from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and is now continuing her studies with a Master’s degree in Journalism and New Media.

Through the program, she started working at Rise Club, as a Communication and Community Building Officer. Her main responsibilities are planning the communication strategy and the organization’s promotion, handling Rise Club’s Social Media, updating the website, designing and writing of the organization’s monthly newsletter, and assisting in research and applications for funding programs in support of the organization.

Rise Club is a Non-Profit Organization and a network to support unemployed mothers in Greece who want to enter the labor market, strengthen their skills and fulfill their potential. The organization offers professional counseling services (eg. CV writing), mental health programs, personal empowerment and skills development programs. Rise Club brings mothers in touch and looks for suitable employers and jobs.
