Aris Spanoudis

Aris, after his studies at the Sociology Department of Panteion University, completed the postgraduate program ”Animal Ethics” at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He worked for several years in the sales and catering sector and before starting at Desmos, he worked for 2 years at GIVMED as the Coordinator for nonprofit organizations network. At Desmos he started in January 2024 and has been in charge of the “Teens for teens” Volunteer Network, and the “Desmos for Schools” program.
Fun fact: He plays Futsal and is still trying to explain to us what exactly that is.

DESMOS aims to coordinate the donating process between donors and organizations in need. Desmos does not attest to, or provide any guarantees regarding, the quality of the offered goods or their characteristics. Desmos designs and implements programs arising from financial donations by individuals, companies and charitable financial institutions aiming to meet the needs of vulnerable groups. In order to be able to sustainably run our programs, we need to cater for implementation costs such as research and update of needs, proposal compilation, implementation follow up, payments, financial and final reports to donors etc. The set policy of Desmos is to charge a 10% administrative fee after removing the applied 0.5% donation tax. Especially where individuals’ monetary donations up to 5.000 euros for combating the COVID-19 pandemic are concerned, Desmos waives its right to the aforementioned percentage and assumes the responsibility to absorb all administrative costs.
